Can't upload JE
Problem reported by randy chang - February 3, 2016 at 9:06 PM
Resolved
Guys,

I've done this every month, but for some reason I'm getting an error with the Account not being valid.

I'm trying to upload data from Excel into QBO.  This is the error I'm getting:

Invalid Number : Invalid Account [Prepaid Expense]

However, I've tried checking, unchecking and all variations of the account.

Can someone please help?

Is this a sub account if so be sure to include the Account:subaccount in your import file.

Also select options and make sure the option to enable account numbers is not checked.

Hi Karen,

Thanks for your response. No, this is not a subaccount and no we don't use account numbers when importing.

I've done this JE at least 20 times in the last 12 months using the same template.

I've also:

1)tried with numbers, without numbers, with different accounts.
2)checked to make sure the QBO file number ties
3)tried creating new accounts to try with
4)tried to open the books completely

Is there anyone I can hop on a call with to solve this?  Its extremely frustrating and delaying my Jan close.

Until last week, TransactionPro has worked seamlessly for me.

Thanks

-Randy
