E-Commerce Imports to QuickBooks Using Transaction Pro Importer

QuickBooks Desktop (Pro, Premier or Enterprise) > Transaction Pro Importer
Are you importing orders from some sort of e-commerce site and have some unique requirements on your invoices, sales orders of sales receipts imports to QuickBooks?  Do not worry we have a whole tab of options for you to utilize.  On the first screen of Transaction Pro Importer ("TPI") select the options button.  Then select the e-Commerce Tab.  This feature allows you to map separate columns for shipping, handling, discount and sales tax as well as indicate that your items are in columns instead of in rows.  You can read more about this on our blog.



You also have the ability to set a prefix in front of each transaction id in QuickBooks.  This can be helpful if you have multiple shopping carts so you can easily identify where the order originated.
