QuickBooks Online > Intuit App Center - Transaction Pro Importer for QuickBooks Online
If you receive the following error:  There were problems communicating with the Intuit API.  Please try importing your transactions later.
 
Step 1:  Look to see if QuickBooks Online API is down at https://intuitdevelopergroup.statuspage.io/.  Scroll down and look right below About this site.  If to the right of QuickBooks Online API it says Operational then follow the steps below.  If there are issues noted with the QuickBooks Online API you can return to the Intuit website for updates or we post updates as we see them to on Twitter at https://twitter.com/transactionpro
 
Step 2:  If the Intuit website says that the QuickBooks Online API is operational and you are the Admin user of the Transaction Pro App the follow the instructions below OR If you are the participant user then ask your admin user to follow the instructions below.
 
  1. Have the admin user login to the Transaction Pro Importer application at https://importer.transactionpro.com and select the Disconnect from QuickBooks link in the upper right hand corner of the website – and be sure to select the Confirm Button
  2. Then select sign out in the upper right hand corner
  3. Have the admin user relogin to the App at https://importer.transactionpro.com and select the connect to QuickBooks button and go through the authorization
  4. Retry the import
